Pardon our dust. We are currently working on updating our site-layout and design! We are open for Roleplay, however, so pop into the discord and say hello! Check out our Guidebook for basic information on the site and do not hesitate to ask our staff if you have any questions. We are a friendly group of people that enjoy writing together (and perhaps creating some juicy in-character drama) and we would love for you to join us!
Welcome to Drift!

11/08/20: A mysterious disease seems to be targeting the plant life all throughout Drift. Decay and rot is breaking down trees and small sections of forest in many different places. Meanwhile, a new pack has begun to rise within Idaith while the Assyr pride begins to falter and slowly disappear within Veyr. Winter will be upon the continent soon, but what does this disease mean for the creatures that call this place home? Mysterious sounds and small quakes seem to be happening occasionally when no witnesses are present to see their source. Could they somehow be releated to the disease or are the creatures of Drift destined to be confronted with multiple dangers when the snow begins to fall?
The skies have begun to darken with autumn rains during the day and the nighttime temperatures are starting to plummet. Mornings outside of the desert lands are greeted by frozen dew and fog, and leaves have begun to change colors and fall from the trees. Winter is quickly approaching and with it comes unknown dangers. There is strength in numbers, but what about those that have no place to call home?
Far on the opposite end of the sourthern gulf lies the solitary island of Vaess. Thanks to the protected nature of the gulf there are rarely high waves or storms in the waters, but the length of the swim alone could kill many creatures, not to mention the dangers that lie within the gulf as well. The island itself, however, is plentiful and boasts forests, plains, and beaches that are protected by the gulf that surrounds it.

Location of the Kinetic Crystal
Making up the majority of the western side of Vaess, the Draet Wetlands are not exactly a pleasant place to be for most mammalian creatures. The ground is almost always covered with water, and though there is some vegetation, it does flood frequently here. There is, however, one pull to this area. The Kinetic Crystal landed deep within the Wetlands, making it quite miserable and yet still somehow worth while to reach.
Located in the middle of the only forest that Vaess has, the My'eth Rock is the perfect location for faction meetings or simply to get a better viewpoint on the surrounding area. The trees around it are spread out into a clearing, giving enough space to hold upward of twenty average creatures, and when the sun is shining it also makes a wonderfully comfortable spot for sunbathing.
As the only forest in Vaess, the Orik Forest stretches for miles in each direction, covering a vast majority of the island. The trees here are tall, but not necessarily close to one another, and the grass is almost always covered in thick, soft moss.
Stretching along the eastern coast of Vaess, the Paradox Cliffs shine true to their namesake. They are beautiful, and yet also unique, making them an intriguing place to visit. However, they are also quite dangerous, and the small island off the coast is not much more than a rocky peak tempting any passerby to attempt a deadly climb up to the tip.
